Getting Ambrosia By Completing Prophecies For The Fated List Of Minor PropheciesĪcross all of the tasks on the Fated List of Minor Prophecies, there is a total of 68 acquirable units of Ambrosia. The bosses that drop Ambrosia as a reward are Theseus and Asterius, though only if both are defeated. Players can seek out a specific pair of bosses in order to farm Ambrosia during each run where they are encountered. If Zagreus defeats a boss while the Heat level is high enough, players will have a chance to be rewarded with Ambrosia (among some other resources). Every Harsh Condition activated will increase the Heat of a run, which, in turn, will unlock Bounties for bosses. The difficulty is increased by activating various Harsh Conditions, which will all apply some effect to make the game harder, such as increasing the damage that enemies do and much more. Across all Titles, it will only take 10 Ambrosia to fully Rank-up, though, this is because Ambrosia is one of the least-needed upgrade materials.Īfter completing the game at least once, players will be able to utilize a mechanic known as the Pact of Punishment, which allows the player to increase the difficulty of the game in exchange for better rewards and special opportunities. Ranks, which are tiers of the Titles that can be gained after beating the game at least once, can be increased by trading Ambrosia with the Resource Director in the House of Hades. Using Ambrosia To Purchase Ranks From The Resource Director For 15 Ambrosia, players can buy the Lovely Theme, and, for 10 Ambrosia, players can also buy the Sonorous Theme from the House Contractor. While there aren't very many items that can be bought with Ambrosia, the House Contractor within the House of Hades will sell the player a couple of themes for a few bottles of the glistening golden fluid. RELATED: Hades: How To Beat The Last Boss Using Ambrosia To Trade With The House Contractor The max level for each Companion is 5 (or beyond if using the Night Spindle) and each will require 10 Ambrosia to fully upgrade.

To upgrade a Companion, players will have to interact with the display case or a Keepsake Collection (if bought from the House Contractor) and spend Ambrosia to increase their ally's usability. Initially, each Companion can only be used once per escape attempt, however, this can be increased by upgrading them.
